attend The Exquisite Beauty of Asean Exhibition at Seoul, South Korea

Representing CSMA in The Exquisite Beauty of Asean Exhibition at Seoul, South Korea in 2012 which was arranged by Asean Korean Center in cooperated with Ministry of Commerce in Cambodia on 6-12^Th June 2012, I found this as the brilliant opportunity for me to introduce CSMA's products to international consumers as well as business partners. It was also great honor to represent Cambodia Handicraft Sector together with Artisan Angkor.  

Since it is late spring and early summer in Korea now, it was the best and perfect timing to sell our products, especially picnic mats. Moreover, with similar tradition of using sedge mats in and outside the houses for thousands years of Korean’s history, people still find these products useful. The New design of CSMA’s sedge mats is also the additional attractive points to customers. The sale went so quickly; 90% percent of all products amount was sold on the first exhibition day. All of our products were sold out completely on the second day. There were many more individual customers came to CSMA’s booth for purchasing more products, but unfortunately we didn’t have anything left. It was really a hug success for CSMA history as well as for my very first business trip at foreign country.

Though it was only Business to Consumer Exhibition, there were 4-5 Korean Companies visited our booth. Two potential business partners are very interested in our products and the Shinsegae Department Store itself (The high-ends department store where the exhibition takes place) is also interested in our products. With very low price (4times cheaper) compared to the existing ones at the department store and comparable quality, CSMA’s products can easily take over the market.
